Sugar Lab of Colorado is a Denver-based artisan ice cream co-packer, private label manufacturer, and wholesale supplier. We exist because we couldn't find the production partner we needed, so we built it ourselves.

Our Story

From Scoop Shop to Boutique Production Kitchen

Sugar Lab of Colorado was born from the team behind High Point Creamery , a nationally recognized artisan ice cream brand featured in CNN, Bon Appétit, Vogue, 5280, and Westword.

Over more than a decade, the High Point Creamery team scaled the brand from a single scoop shop into a multi-channel operation with retail, wholesale, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) arms. Along the way, they experienced firsthand the challenge of finding a co-packing partner that truly understood artisan production.

Most co-packers required large minimum orders that didn't fit a growing brand's production model. Instead of compromising, the team built their ow After an extensive search, they found a facility with the right infrastructure and transformed it into a dedicated boutique production kitchen in Denver, Colorado, where every batch is made by hand.

Today, Sugar Lab of Colorado serves emerging and established brands with co-packing, private label manufacturing, and wholesale supply, all produced with the same artisan standards that define High Point Creamery.
